The English style of mustard originated in Durham in 1720 when a lady by the name of Mrs Clements invented a special recipe known as Durham Mustard. At one time there were three separate mustard factories in the city of Durham.
1. Hotel Bannatyne (Durham Hotels/2* hotels in Durham)
Only opened in February 2007. Plasma TVs with SKy and free broadband connection. A State of the art Bannatyne Health Club is located next door which is complimentary to all hotel residents. This includes a large swimming pool and jacuzi.
